Overall Editor's Rating

What It Is

Digger and Daisy Go is a new early reader series. Digger and Daisy are a brother and sister pair of dogs. They like to explore their world and see new things. Sometimes they agree with each other, sometimes they do not. But no matter the situation, they always seem to have fun. In this first Digger and Daisy story, Digger tries to imitate the various animals he sees at the zoo while Daisy tells him what he can and cannot do. For example, dogs can't climb trees like monkeys can, but they can climb stairs.

Is It Fun?

As with most beginning readers, the plot is very basic. But, the easy text and colorful pictures will certainly engage children.
