What It Is
The Click & Count Remote is a toy version of something babies and toddlers seem to be obsessed with: remote controls. It's a plastic remote control with more than 45 songs, melodies, and phrases. This remote has lots of different buttons that simulate using a real remote control, including changing channels to watch different programs, controlling the volume, and even using the DVR. Little ones can channel surf through nine pretend channels, including pretend news and weather. In addition to offering roleplay, the remote teaches colors, numbers, and shapes. The up and down volume button teaches the concept of opposites and actually works if a melody is playing. Press the music button to hear songs about watching TV and melodies including classics "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad." The roller ball and record/playback button make fun sounds, and the latter also teaches kids different colors and shapes. Parent-friendly features include two volume settings and automatic shut-off.
Is It Fun?
We love how portable this toy is. Unfortunately, we don't think it will prevent babies from going after the real remote control any time soon, but it is cute and entertaining.
Who It’s For
