What It Is

With the Magic Fun Dough Monster Mania kit, kids can create funny monster figures out of dough. The kit includes three one-ounce tubs of Magic Fun Dough, 12 character parts, two dough cutters, 12 magic transfers, a transfer press, and a water applicator. Before you begin, fill the water applicator with water and cover your work space to protect it from accidental spills. Choose the color dough you want to use and roll it out into a smooth, flat shape. Select one of the monster transfers and peel off the clear plastic sheet. Place the transfer face down on the dough. Wet the back of the transfer using the water applicator, making sure every part gets wet. Then, gently press the transfer press against the transfer for at least 60 seconds. Peel off the backing to reveal your character on the dough. Use one of the dough cutters to cut out your monster, and attach any of the character parts by pushing them into the dough. When the dough dries, you've got a fun monster figure to play with. If you mess up or want to make another character, just remove the character parts before the dough hardens, smash or roll the transfer back into the dough, and use the dough over again.

Is It Fun?

With this kit, kids can be like Dr. Frankenstein creating whatever kind of monster they want. This is a fun take on a classic play pattern that will engage kids in lots of creative play.
