What It Is
Team Umizoomi fans can get two books in one with Save the Kitten!/Buster's Big Day. This two-in-one book also includes four pages of 50 Team Umizoomi stickers.
On one side of the book, kids can read Save the Kitten! This story, based on the episode "The Kitty Rescue" by Dustin Ferrer, features illustrations by Bob Ostrom. When Brownie the cat gets stuck in a well, Geo uses his Super Shapes Splitter to create different vehicles out of shapes that will help the team reach Brownie.
Flip the book over to read Buster's Big Day, based on the teleplay "Buster the Lost Dog" by Clark Stubbs and illustrated by Lorraine O'Connell. In this story, Team Umizoomi plays fetch with Buster the dog, but Buster accidentally jumps into the back of a truck in an attempt to retrieve a ball, and the team must use the UmiCar and shapes from Geo's belt to find Buster.
Is It Fun?
Team Umizoomi fans will love reading about familiar episodes of the TV series. We like that on several pages in each story, kids are asked to find shapes or count the number of different animals and objects they see on the page, making kids part of the story and helping them practice shape recognition and counting as they read.
