EDITOR'S REVIEW

What It Is

The Nerf N-Strike Mega Series N-Strike Elite Magnus blaster shoots mega-sized foam darts. It comes with three. To load, pull the slide back to open the chamber, insert the three darts in the chamber, and close completely. Then, you're ready to blast. You're going to need to pull the slide back between each shot to position the dart in the chamber and cock the blaster.

Is It Fun?

This is a pretty good blaster, but we weren't able to get the darts to go 85 feet as the package suggests. Instead, the best we got was about 50 feet. Also, the darts are supposed to whistle, but they didn't do that on every shot. So, while this isn't our favorite Nerf blaster, it still works adequately, and like all Nerf blasters, it is well-designed and well-balanced, making it easy for kids to use and satisfying in a blaster battle.

Who It’s For

The Nerf N-Strike Mega Series N-Strike Elite Magnus is for ages 8 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Do not shoot the foam darts at people's eyes or faces.
