What It Is

Digger and Daisy Go on a Picnic is the second book in the Digger and Daisy beginner reader book series for kindergarteners and first graders. Each book contains a playful, simple story that explores the dynamics of the sibling relationship between Digger and Daisy, brother and sister dogs who like to explore the world and see new things.

In this book, the duo decides to walk to the park for a picnic. On the way, Digger's keen sense of smell leads him to explore his surroundings, but will his nose lead him to trouble? This 28-page book is written by Judy Young and illustrated by Dana Sullivan.
