What It Is
The Count & Colors Bouncing Frog is a bouncy little froggy that introduces kids to colors, music, numbers, and rhymes with 20 melodies and songs. There are two modes of play: Learning mode and Music mode. Learning mode introduces numbers and colors, while the Music mode plays fun melodies. There are four buttons and a spinning center component that lights up. Kids are encouraged to bounce to the beat, and the bouncer reinforces their movement by counting when they bounce. The frame of this toy is sturdy with four rubber anchors to prevent the bouncer from sliding around the floor. There is a focus on insects in the bouncer's songs, which is a nice touch because kids are fascinated with anything that has to do with bugs. One song sings about a purple butterfly flying high in the sky.
Is It Fun?
We like the design of this bouncer. It's nice and rounded, twists side to side, and bounces up and down. All buttons to control sounds are right on the handle where the child can easily press them. This bouncer also encourages gross motor skills by helping kids work on balance and strengthening the core and legs. Overall, this is a great bouncer that encourages both physical play and learning play. Toddlers need physical play because it's essential to their development, and having music and sounds to encourage learning is also a nice touch.
