What It Is
The Aviation Adventures is a three-in-one building set and part of the LEGO Creator series. Using the 618-piece set, kids can build three different aviation vehicles. Build the airplane and move the tail wheel back and forth to prime the eight-cylinder radial engine and watch its propeller spin. Open the engine cover to access the gear assembly. Slide open the hinged canopy to reveal the detailed cockpit, extend the undercarriage for landing, and more.
Then, rebuild the vehicle into a modern helicopter with detailed cockpit instruments or a sleek speedboat with opening canopy function and luggage compartment.
Is It Fun?
Like all toys in the LEGO Creator line, the play is about building and creativity. It's ideal for the LEGO kid who likes to build, disassemble, build again, and play. LEGO fans will appreciate the details in each model, such as the plane's spinning propeller. Each model is also very sturdy and able to withstand lots of imaginative play.
Who It’s For
The LEGO Creator Aviation Adventures is for ages 8–12.
What To Be Aware Of
This took us two hours to build as the airplane. The instructions were very easy to follow.
Even though the set lets you build three models, you can only build one at a time. So if you build the airplane and want to build the speedboat, you'll have to disassemble the jet first.
