What It Is

El Chu with infrared remote control from Thinkway Toys is a remote controlled plane for young fans of the new Disney/Pixar movie Planes, and especially fans of the silly high-flying plane character. In the film El Chupacabra, El Chu for short, is a legendary plane from Mexico with a passion for racing and a booming personality. This El Chu R/C features the green, white, and red colors of the Mexican flag, with a Lucha Libra-style mask around his eyes. The On/Off switch is located on the bottom of El Chu. Use the infrared duel joystick remote control, which features El Chu's signature number five, to send El Chu forward, backward, and 360 degrees right and left. El Chu's propeller also spins as the R/C moves.

Is It Fun?

This is a simple R/C racer that lets kids create their own fake flying adventures and bring one of their favorite Planes characters to life off-screen. We think this R/C will especially appeal to fans of the film and kids who simply love airplanes.

Who It’s For

El Chu is for ages 4 and up

What To Be Aware Of

The El Chu plane doesn't actually fly. It moves across the floor on wheels.

It's recommended for indoor-use only and works best on smooth surfaces and low pile carpets.

El Chu will go into sleep mode when not in use. You can wake him up by pressing the button on his nose.

The moving propellor is made of a harder plastic so young kids may need to be reminded to keep their hands away from the propeller when in motion.

Four AAA batteries are required for the plane and two AA are required from the remote control, which are not included.
