What It Is
Dusty is a remote controlled plane for young fans of the new Disney/Pixar movie Planes and the film's leading plane Dusty. In the film Dusty is a cropduster plane with big dreams of racing in the Wings Around the Globe Rally. This R/C features Dusty's signature look from the film. The On/Off switch is located on the bottom of Dusty. Use the infrared duel joystick remote control to send Dusty moving forward, backward, and 360 degrees right and left. Dusty's propeller also spins as the R/C moves. Dusty goes into sleep mode when not in use. You can wake him up by pressing the orange button on top of the plane.
Is It Fun?
This R/C racer lets Planes fans create their own fake flying adventures and bring one of their favorite Planes characters to life off-screen.
Who It’s For
While Dusty with Infrared Remote Control is age-graded for kids 4 and up, we think the learning curve required to use it makes it better suited for a slightly older child.
What To Be Aware Of
The plane does not move forward and backward in a straight path. Instead it moves forward then naturally starts to turn. To move it in a straight path, send it forward slowly then use the right and left controller to help it remain on a straight path. This could be frustrating for a young child.
Dusty doesn't actually fly. It moves across the floor on wheels.
It's recommended for indoor-use only.
Four AAA batteries are required for the plane and two AA are required for the remote control, which are not included.
