Yummiloo Rainbow Power is a beautiful app for kids to experience sorting healthy foods by color. Open up the app and travel to Yummiloo, a vibrant healthy food-filled land. The Yum Yum friends need your help because their Rainbow Machine is broken and they can't play at the Carnival without it. To power the Rainbow Machine, kids need to sort the healthy, growing foods by color. The lead Yum Yum character, Rooty, plants the garden with his magic rainbow seeds and kids watch the different fruits and vegetables begin to grow. Kids need to find the foods with a specific color and drag them to the basket. As you play, you will notice that some of the foods are going bad. Take those rotten fruit and vegetables and put them in the compost bin to let more fresh foods flourish. Be ready during the game for a Snack Attack break. One of the Yum Yum friends is hungry and you need to feed him healthy foods as quickly as possible to get back to the game. Once he is full the game resumes.
The game continues color by color until the Rainbow Machine is fully powered and the carnival can begin. There are five color groups in total, so this is not a very long app. The play is engaging enough that kids will restart and play over again.
This app is a fun way to introduce young kids to healthy foods through engaging gameplay. This is a colorful app that helps children with color recognition and food identification.
Yummiloo Rainbow Power is recommended for kids 5 and under.
This app is available in the iTunes App Store as a universal app that works on the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.
There is a Parents Page with an option to customize the app for young kids who aren't able to keep their fingers down while dragging across the screen. Turn on the "tap" setting so a simple tap puts the healthy, colorful food right into the basket.
Parents do have a place in Yummiloo Rainbow Power to browse other Night & Day Studio apps. This area is thoughtfully protected with a text-based, two-finger swipe child lock.
