What It Is
In the movies, on TV, and in comic books, Superman can fly. The Man of Steel Quick Shots Flight Striker Superman, based on the movie Man of Steel, lets kids bring Superman's flying action to life. This figure pack comes with a stretchy and soft Superman figure and a plastic launcher figure. Attach the Quick Shots Flight Striker Superman to the launcher, pull back on Superman, and release to watch Superman speed through the air.
Is It Fun?
Superman fans young and old will have fun making Superman fly with this figure set. There is proper technique to get Superman to launch, and it might take younger kids a few tries to get the hang of it. But once they do, they'll be able to engage in lots of imaginative superhero play.
Who It’s For
Flight Striker Superman is for ages 4 and up.
Man of Steel is rated PG-13 because of violence and language, so it may not be appropriate for all children. This is always a challenge with toys based on these types of movies. Collectors and Superman fans want plenty of non-stop action and insist on at least a PG-13 rating. As always, parents need to determine what's appropriate for their family and their individual kids. For kids who love Superman and action figures, though, there's plenty of play built into this toy even if the kids don't see the movie.
What To Be Aware Of
We found that when you hold the launcher, make sure your thumb goes where the diagram on the launcher shows you. Also, it's helpful to pull the Superman figure down at an angle instead of straight back.
Man of Steel has a PG-13 rating, so younger kids may not see the movie.
