What It Is
Twister Rave Ringz lights up handclap games as players twist, snap, and clap to make the rings change color. There are more than 20 handclap games to master, and the instructions show kids how to do the Triple Twist.
First, put a ring on each hand. The directions do not specify on which finger to put the rings. We assumed the ring fingers, but the instructions' illustrations make it seem like the rings go on your middle fingers. This makes snapping very difficult. However, the game videos at playtwister.com show kids wearing the rings on their ring fingers, so that's what we ultimately went with.
To continue with the Triple Twist game, twist, snap, and clap your hands together in different combinations. Start with all rings on red and finish with all rings on green. Then you have mastered that game. Additional games and videos can be found at playtwister.com. The games are divided into difficulty levels, so you'll want to start with the easy games and work your way up to the harder games. The games can be played solo or with a friend. However, if you want two people to play, each player will need a set of Twister Rave Ringz.
Twister Rave Ringz are available in three colors: black, pink, and blue. Each set of two rings is sold separately.
Is It Fun?
The Twister Rave Ringz were a little big on our ring fingers and moved around a lot while we were twisting, snapping, and clapping. This made it hard for us to complete the moves properly because we were constantly adjusting the rings to keep them from falling off our fingers. If the rings are too big on our fingers, they're definitely going to be too big on kids' fingers. Even though kids might think it's cool to create a light show on their hands, kids might find wearing the rings cumbersome and constantly adjusting the rings frustrating.
Who It’s For
Twister Rave Ringz is for ages 8 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
Six button cell batteries are included, but they power the in-store try-me features. It's recommended that you replace the batteries before you play for best results.
Even though these light up, they are not for use in complete darkness.
