What It Is
The Xploderz Night Fighterz Gen-700 blaster uses regular and glow-in-the-dark ammo, so that kids can battle both day and night. The ammo is strong enough to shoot far distances and soft enough to disintegrate on impact, making this blaster fun and safe to use.
To use, you first have to grow the Xploderz ammo. The ammo starts out as small, plastic pellets. When you soak the pellets in water for at least four hours, they absorb the water, grow and become squishy balls. Load them into the ammo clip and attach it to the blaster. Turn the blaster on and it will light up. Pull back and fire to watch the glowing ammo soar up to 85 feet, according to the company. The blaster includes a 250-capacity ammo depot and 700 rounds of tracer ammo refills, allowing you to grow your own ammo and quickly reload.
Is It Fun?
This is classic blaster play, and kids will love the new glow-in-the-dark effect of the Xploderz ammo. You can use this blaster in daylight, but it looks really cool in the dark. Of course, if playing outside at night, parental supervision is recommended. The ammo does shoot far, but we only got ours to go between 60 and 70 feet.
Who It’s For
The Xploderz Night Fighterz Gen-700 is for ages 8 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
Three AAA batteries are required but not included.
The ammo was originally created as a time-release plant watering technology. That means you don't need to pick up ammo that goes into the yard. In a short time, the water will be released into the soil, and the ammo pieces will be inert in the ground.
