What It Is

The Transformers Prime R/C assortment features remote-controlled Transformers characters. Kids can control the conversion from robot to vehicle and back again using the remote. With three frequency channels, kids can battle their friends as their favorite Transformers characters. Characters include Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Knockout. Each comes with one figure and one controller. Each is sold separately.

Is It Fun?

The Transformers Prime R/C Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Knockout are easy to control. Kids will like being in control of and watching their favorite Transformer actually transform from vehicle to robot and back again.

Who It’s For

The Transformers Prime R/C vehicles are for Transformers fans ages 5 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Four AAA batteries are required but not included.

The transforming feature is pretty cool, but it only works when the figure is going in reverse. Also, you can't steer the figure; it only moves forward. That limits the "battling" to simply running the figures into one another, and you'll have to pick up and position the figures by hand to get them to change direction.

This is to be expected given the very reasonable price for the figures. However, some kids might get frustrated with the play in a short time.
