What It Is

Puppet on a Stick is a set of three puppets designed for small hands to be able to manipulate. Each of the three puppets has a bright, colorful alien-like head, atop, as you might guess, a stick. Kids can open and close their mouths by pressing the lever on the back of the stick. Beyond that, everything else is in the child's hands.

Is It Fun?

The simple design makes it easy for kids to operate the puppets. Even young kids without highly developed fine motor skills can make them work easily. We love puppets because they inspire kids to engage in open-ended, imaginative and narrative-driven play. Children will enjoy animating their puppets. Puppet on a Stick is all about open-ended play, and these silly characters are especially silly. There are three puppets in the set, so kids can either engage in co-play or have an entire cast of characters at their fingertips.

Who It’s For

Puppet on a Stick is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Puppets are also a great tool for parent/child interaction. Puppet on a Stick can easily be used by an adult, allowing parents to engage in pretend play with their child.
