Overall Editor's Rating

What It Is

Pop star Britney Spears has collaborated with Hasbro for a new take on the classic Twister game. Twister Dance combines music with fun colored, moveable spots instead of the game's original spotted mat. The game console comes with five preloaded songs from today's top artists. Once the music is playing, it gives you colored light cues that coordinate with the colored spots on the floor. Follow the spots through three levels of difficulty.

Is It Fun?

Girls can rock out to today's most popular music by artists such as Britney Spears, Ke$ha, and Willow Smith while moving their feet to the colored spots on the floor. They can also connect their own MP3 player into the game console to dance to their favorite songs, creating a new Twister Dance experience each time they play. However, we were fairly disappointed with this product, after high expectations. It's hard to see the lights, but if you turn off the lights, you can't see the spots on the floor. Overall, we found the experience frustrating.

Who It’s For

Twister Dance is for ages 8 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

It is difficult to see the lights on the game console, which can make the game frustrating at times. There are no cues for the arms or the whipping of the hair as the promotional materials hint toward.

There is no scoring in this dance game.
