What It Is

Spot It! On the Road plays just like the original Spot It! game only with a road trip theme and an additional game variation. The game comes with 55 brightly colored cards that each have eight objects you'd see on a road trip, including an airplane, a yield sign, a limo, a motel sign. The object of the game is to find two matching cards. There is only one matching object between any two cards. Players try to be the first to find the match. There are several ways to play, and depending on how you play, the winner will be the person with the fewest cards, the most cards, or no cards. One of the game variations is unique to Spot It! On the Road. Instead of finding matches between two cards, players look out the window to find a match with one of the symbols on a card. The cards and instructions come packaged in a tin canister. Spot It! On the Road is for two to eight players.

Is It Fun?

This is a fun matching game that is easy to learn how to play, but challenging in its requirements of visual recognition and quick mental processing. There are times when the match is instantly visible, and then there are times when the match is a little harder to find. The travel theme to this game and the compact storage canister make it easy to take and play Spot It! On the Road when you're actually out on the road. It's also a lot of fun to play at home.

Who It’s For

Spot It! On the Road is for ages 7 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

This game is intended to be played by passengers only. Drivers need to focus their attention on the road in order to keep everyone safe.

Some of the game variations are not suitable for taking in a car because you need a large playing surface for laying down the cards.
