What It Is

LeapFrog's new Touch Magic line brings touch technology to preschool toys. Touch Magic toys recognize every tap, touch, and swipe to bring each toy to life. With the Touch Magic Rockin' Guitar, kids can play solo without a back-up, pretend to play along with a band, or select electric or acoustic guitar. There are no strings on this guitar, just a flat surface with colorful images of strings and buttons. To play the guitar, just swipe your fingers across the image of the strings. Kids can add guitar riffs, silly sounds, and drums. The guitar features 10 built-in songs, including "Rockin' Robin," "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," and "If You're Happy and You Know It." When the songs play, kids can strum faster to hear the song speed up. There is also a button that kids can tap to hear applause. The guitar comes with a strap and two volume settings: low and high.

Is It Fun?

The Touch Magic Rockin' Guitar lets preschoolers roleplay being a rock star. Kids will like "playing" along to the different songs and adding silly sounds and other effects to create new versions of the songs.

Who It’s For

The Touch Magic Rockin' Guitar is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AAA batteries are included, but these are for in-store try-me purposes. LeapFrog recommends replacing them before you play for best results.
