What It Is
The iFly Micro Lightning Helicopter is an indoor helicopter that can be controlled using the included remote or via iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. Before flying, the helicopter needs to be charged for 60 minutes. The helicopter can be charged directly from the remote or from a computer's USB port. A USB charging cable is included. A full charge will give you eight minutes of continuous flying time.
Using the remote control is easy. Kids can make the helicopter go up, down, left, and right. It also has a trim button to stabilize the helicopter so it doesn't fly all over the place.
Controlling the helicopter with an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch is also easy. Download the free Swann iFly app and plug the included transmitter into your smart device so that it will communicate with the helicopter. Then you're ready to fly. You can use the app's push button controls or enter tilt mode to control the movement of the helicopter by tilting your smart device.
Is It Fun?
The iFly Micro Lightning Helicopter flies like a real helicopter. Kids will like that they can control it with a traditional remote or by using their favorite smart device. This is priced slightly more than toy helicopters of the same scale, but for a kid or an adult who is going to get a lot out of this, it's definitely worth the money.
