What It Is

Moxie Girlz Magic Swim Mermaid "swims" like a mermaid when placed in water. Totally submerge the doll in water until no air bubbles appear on the water surface. When the water touches both of the sensors on the back of the doll, the doll will immediately begin to swim. When the doll is lifted out of water and the sensors no longer touch water, the doll stops swimming. Magic Swim Mermaid is available in Moxie Girlz characters Avery and Kellan. Each doll is sold separately.

Is It Fun?

Kids love bringing their dolls to the bathtub or pool, and with the Magic Swim Mermaid, kids can pretend that the Moxie Girlz are swimming with them. And the cool part is that the dolls really do "swim". As soon as the doll is submerged in water and the sensors detect the water (which takes only a few seconds), the tail starts moving up and down, projecting the doll forward through the tub or pool. The Magic Swim Mermaid dolls will engage kids in lots of imaginative play.

Who It’s For

The Moxie Girlz Magic Swim Mermaid is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Two AAA batteries are required but not included.

Before placing the Magic Swim Mermaid in water, make sure the battery compartment is securely closed and sealed, and the screws are tightened firmly to assure the compartment is watertight.

To swim straight, the mermaid's body must be straight as if lying down. The mermaid will swim with its arms stretched out in front or with its arms to the sides. Both arms must be positioned in the same direction or the doll may not swim in a straight line.

After swimming, remove the doll from water and allow all excess water to drain from the small holes in the tail. Then place the doll on a towel. Allow the doll, clothing, and hair accessories to dry thoroughly before storing. If the doll will not be played with for an extended period of time, remove the batteries to prevent possible corrosion and damage to the toy.

Adult supervision is required when children are playing around water.
