What It Is

The LEGO Safari Building Set comes with 152 pieces for building a giraffe, a crocodile, an elephant, a bird, a tree, and a vehicle. It also comes with two minifigures with a suitcase and a camera. The assembly booklet includes pictures of additional LEGO creations that can be built using the pieces in the Safari Building Set. Kids (and parents) can go to to find building instructions for a boat, a duck, and more.

Is It Fun?

This is a great starter set for preschoolers who have graduated from playing with LEGO Duplo products but are still a little young for some of the complex builds in LEGO sets. The Safari Building Set is easy to put together and there are multiple ways to build and play. Kids can build one way, then take everything apart and build something different. This is a great introduction to LEGO for young kids and will engage them in lots of imaginative play.

Who It’s For

The Safari Building Set is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Other easy-to-build themed sets include the Police Building Set, the Castle Building Set, and the Road Construction Building Set. Each is sold separately.
