What It Is
Transformers Bot Shots are a cool new way to play with Transformers. The miniature vehicles transform instantly into their robot alter egos on impact. Changing Optimus Prime from robot to vehicle takes just three easy steps, and the pieces click into place. As a truck, when Optimus runs into an obstacle, he will pop back into robot mode.
There's also a game that kids can play with Bot Shots. There is a rotating piece in each Bot Shot's chest that has three sides depicting three different powers: sword, blaster, and fist. Select the power you want for your Bot Shot, then fold the robot into vehicle mode. Crash your Bot Shot into an opponent's Bot Shot to make each pop back into robot mode. The one with the most powerful symbol showing wins. Blaster beats fist, fist beats sword, and sword beats blaster. Of course, kids can make up their own rules, or just have a blast crashing the cars, which, of course, is classic and endlessly amusing vehicle play.
Is It Fun?
The Transformers Bot Shots are built for bashing and smashing. The game that kids can play with their Bot Shots is sort of like Rock, Paper, Scissors, so it's familiar and easy to play. This is great play that combines the fun of instant transformation with a classic game that kids will get a kick out of playing again and again.
