What It Is
Last year ToyTeck introduced Teacup Piggies, a line of cute and interactive miniature toy pigs that love to play and be at home in teacups. Inspired by the trend of having real miniature pigs as pets, the line has been expanded with new pigs, play patterns, and playsets, including the Teacup Piggies Snowmobile. It comes with a pig wearing snow goggles and a hat, a water bottle, a snowmobile, and a Snowmobile Champion of 2011 certificate. The pig can ride on the snowmobile, which has wheels so kids can push it and roll it along on a non-snow surface. (Which is where these will most likely be played with.) As with all Teacup Piggies, the pig interacts with kids when they play with it. Touch its nose or back to hear different phrases and sound effects. Place the water bottle in the pig's mouth to hear drinking noises. The pig also responds to sound, such as voices or clapping. Place the pig on its side and it will "sleep" and snore.
Is It Fun?
Teacup Piggies are a cute way for girls to engage in pretend play, particularly around having a pet pig, which is far more enchanting in play than in reality. Kids will like that there are so many ways to interact with their pig that all add to the imaginative play.
Who It’s For
The Teacup Piggies Snowmobile is for ages 3 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
The Teacup Piggies Snowmobile comes with two AA batteries for the pig. These are for try-me purposes, and ToyTeck recommends replacing them before you play for best results.
The pig will go into Power Save mode after a few minutes of non-use to conserve energy.
