What It Is

What It Is

Hasbro's Poppin' Park toys feature unpredictable ball popping and animals that encourage kids to explore through ball play. The Elefun Busy Ball Popper features Elefun, Hasbro's charming blue elephant character, in a large, sturdy unit that sits on the floor so baby can play. The design includes a stabilizer on the back so the unit will stay upright even if the child is pushing down on it. The balls stay stored in Elefun's tummy, but when kids are ready to play, switch it on to hear music. Adjust the trunk into one of four different directions that will indicate how the ball comes out. Kids can put the ball in the right ear to keep them popping out, or the left ear to drop them back into Elefun's tummy. When the balls pop out of Elefun, kids are encouraged to chase after them. Five brightly colored balls are included and interchangeable with other Poppin' Park playsets.

Why It’s Fun

The Elefun Busy Ball Popper offers put-and-take play, which helps develop fine motor skills, and chasing after the balls is great for gross motor development. Children will be engaged in the basic curiosity of cause and effect as they try different ways to play.

Who It’s For

The Elefun Busy Ball Popper is for ages 9 months and up.

What to Be Aware of

The unit goes together easily, but adult assembly is required.

Four D batteries are required, but not included.

Each time the ball in Elefun's "hand" is pressed, the motor and music starts and the balls pop all over for about 20 seconds, so the child has to keep reactivating the toy.

The auto-off is a good feature not just for learning, but also because we thought the fan and the music were a little on the loud side, so it's smart not to have it running constantly.
