Hoppy Floppy's Happy Hunt Review (Educational Insights)

Hoppy Floppy's Happy Hunt
What It Is

In Hoppy Floppy's Happy Hunt, players try to be the first to collect four carrots (one of each color) in their baskets. To play, scatter the colored carrots in the bottom of the egg-shaped box. Then, take turns spinning the spinner to determine your move. If you land on a color, use the Hoppy Floppy Squeezer to pick up a carrot that matches that color. Other spaces on the spinner let you pick any carrot color, steal a carrot from another player, lose all your carrots, lose a turn, or spin again.

The game comes with 16 carrots (in four colors), four baskets, an egg-shaped game board, a spinner, a Hoppy Floppy Squeezer, and instructions. The game is for two to four players.

Is It Fun?

This is such a cute game for preschoolers. The rules are easy to explain and understand, so kids can have fun playing and not get frustrated. It also has some educational benefits that parents will appreciate, such as helping preschoolers master color recognition and develop fine motor skills, including pre-handwriting skills through holding the Hoppy Floppy Squeezer.

Because the game box is egg-shaped and the game has a bunny theme, this would make a really cute Easter gift that can be played with all year long.

Who It’s For

Hoppy Floppy's Happy Hunt is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The colorful carrot pieces may look like candy to children under 3, so if you have younger siblings at home, make sure to keep the carrots out of their reach.
