What It Is
Jedi Academy: Return of the Padawan from Scholastic is the follow-up to writer and illustrator Jeffrey Brown's New York Times bestseller Jedi Academy. In this sequel, Brown's main character, Roan Novachez, is heading to his second year at the Jedi Academy where he is a young Padawan. Roan will have to get through field trips to Hoth, flight simulation class, a Gamorrean cafeteria chef, parent-teacher conferences, and girl troubles. All of these stories, and much more, are told through Roan's journal entries, letters, sketches, holomails, and comics.
Is It Fun?
This original story captures all of the fun, awkwardness, and frustrations of middle school, but with a Star Wars theme. The book provides kids with an entertaining and engaging way to expand their involvement with the Star Wars universe.
