What It Is
Hasbro has updated the classic Gloworm toy with the Playskool Lullaby Gloworm. This 10-inch soft plush doll plays music and lights up. It has three modes that can be changed using the switch on its back, and is activated by squeezing the Gloworm or pressing the moon on its front. In Light mode, its plastic face lights up with a gentle glow for 10 minutes. In Demo mode, it'll light up and play one lullaby. And in Play mode, it'll light up for 10 minutes and play through six different lullabies, including favorites "Rock-a-bye Baby" and "Hush, Little Baby." If at any point your child squeezes the Gloworm or presses the Moon, the lights or music will stop until activated again. It doesn't take much pressure to activate it, which is great because little ones can activate it on their own. However, it also means that babies can accidentally turn their Gloworm on and off very easily, too. The Playskool Lullaby Gloworm is available in pink and blue. Each is sold separately.
Is It Fun?
Parents may remember Gloworms from their own childhood, and they'll love sharing this classic toy with their own kids. Lullaby Gloworm is a cute doll for bedtime or any time.
Who It’s For
The Playskool Lullaby Gloworm is for ages birth and up.
What To Be Aware Of
The Playskool Lullaby Gloworm requires three AA batteries, which it says are included, though, oddly, our Gloworm did not have batteries. Either way, the batteries are for demo purposes and should be replaced before playing for best results.
