What It Is
Mixels is a line of buildable figures based on an animated TV series and app created by LEGO and Cartoon Network. As the story goes, the Mixels are part of different tribes, each with a different color scheme, who inhabit a fantasyland of adventure and wonder. They combine with one another in order to face different situations. Some of the Mixels characters include Gobba, Slumbo, and Tentro, who are members from three different tribes.
These LEGO Mixels building sets include LEGO-like bricks in the shapes needed to build the Mixels. Gobba is part of the brown Fang Gang tribe, which is based on teeth, and always needs to be eating. The Gobba set has 57 pieces. Slumbo, one of the sleepiest and strongest Mixels, is part of the blue Frosticon tribe. The Slumbo set has 61 pieces. And finally, Tentro, from the orange Flexers tribe, is powerful but lacks confidence. The Tentro set has 69 pieces. Once built, each figure stands between three- and five-inches tall. There are other Mixels building sets available, and they can be combined with Mixels from their same tribe for mix-and-match play.
Is It Fun?
Fans of the Mixels app and series will like building and mixing the characters with these sets. These are also a fun way to introduce new kids to the brand given that many children like to build and play with creatures.
Who It’s For
Mixels Tentro is for ages 6 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
