Overall Editor's Rating

What It Is

A Bed for Kitty, by Yasmine Surovec, tells the story of Kitty, a cat who sleeps everywhere: on the TV, in the sink, on her owners' clothes, and even in her litterbox, but she never sleeps in her own bed. It isn't until Chloe, the little girl who takes care of her, lies on Kitty's bed that Kitty finally pays attention to it, stretching out right on top of Chloe. This 32-page book is filled with bright, bold yet simple illustrations that tell part of the story.
