What It Is
The Lil' Fun Walker is a walker intended for babies who can sit up on their own and who are just attempting to learn to walk. There's a padded seat with a high back for support and front swivel wheels for more movement. The walker features a removable interactive toy tray with a steering wheel with a horn, gear shifter, buttons, lights, and sounds. There's only one volume level, and it's fairly loud, though the noise isn't constant unless your child continues to press the buttons. If you remove the toy tray, the tray below can be used as a snack tray. The walker has three height positions that are adjustable using a mechanism underneath the walker. That same mechanism is used to fold the walker flat for easy storage or travel.
Is It Fun?
Overall, this walker doesn't seem very user friendly and felt a bit flimsy. The compact fold is one thing we do like about it, so perhaps if a family needed an extra walker to keep in a vacation home or to bring on a trip, the Lil' Fun Walker would make sense for them.
Who It’s For
The Lil' Fun Walker doesn't have an age grade, but it has a weight limit of 25 pounds and a height limit of 30-inches tall.
What To Be Aware Of
The Lil' Fun Walker requires some assembly using a Philips head screwdriver as well as two AA batteries, which are not included. Some parts were difficult to assemble and it took us about 15 minutes, though ours still felt a little flimsy when assembled.
We found that this moves more easily on hardwood floors or flat surfaces than on carpeting.
There is an on/off switch located underneath the toy tray, so you'll need to remove the tray to shut it off. The instructions say to use the quick release buttons to remove the tray, but no matter how many times we tried this, it wasn't easy and felt like we were going to break the tray off. We think it would also be difficult to do with a baby sitting in the walker.
