What It Is

Transformers Age of Extinction: Generations Leader, Grimlock figure from Hasbro is the large, Leader Class Grimlock action figure from the movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction. Like most Transformers, Grimlock has two modes that he can transform into, one of which is a robot. Unlike most Transformers, Grimlock's second mode is a dinosaur. In his robot mode, this Grimlock figure has a ton of articulation, including his legs, arms, and hands. All of that articulation leads to some great posing opportunities. Grimlock also has some great details like dinosaur head shoulder plates and shiny metallic accents. Grimlock's dinosaur mode looks great with more metallic pieces forming his back. The figure comes with a Dragontooth Mace and shield, which become his tail in dinosaur mode.

Is It Fun?

This Age of Extinction figure lets kids and collectors recreate the action from the movie. Kids will want to play with this figure and collectors will want it for their Transformers displays.

Who It’s For

Generations Leader Grimlock is for Transformers fans, ages 8 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

There are 18 steps to transform this figure. Going from robot to dinosaur was extremely challenging and took us 25 minutes to complete. Going back to robot was a lot easier and only took eight minutes.

The figure comes in robot mode, but the directions show you how to transform him into a robot. It's a little confusing at first but most Transformers fans should be able to figure it out by following the directions in reverse.
